Who I am
My name is Michael Noorlander and I started in technical sales, but soon shifted my focus to leadership and how people and teams function practically in companies. Now, with over 35 years of experience in B2B environments at executive level with both local companies and international teams, my experience includes:
- Leading companies and supporting directors
- Working on strategy, marketing and growth (including mergers and acquisitions, sales, production and service)
- Building and rolling out company culture, mission and values
- Implementing CRM systems in multiple countries
- Coaching leaders and teams
- Fulfilling interim management roles when needed
And now I am ready for projects as mentioned above or to bring your company 4ward as Interim CEO, director, or manager.
What I do
Put simply: I help businesses move 4WARD. Not with complicated theories and models, but by gaining a clear picture of what is actually happening within your business. Together, we start with a practical assessment – we look at where things are slowing down, where opportunities are being missed, and what is holding your team back.
Sometimes the answers are surprisingly simple. Sometimes they run deeper. In any case, the goal is the same: clarity and focus.
From there, we will build a plan together that you can actually implement – whether it’s about improving processes, strengthening leadership, developing your team, or optimising the customer experience.
How I work
There is no standard approach that works for everyone.
Depending on your situation, we can conduct a structured business analysis, organise workshops with your team(s), or a combination of both. The most important thing is that it fits your business and creates trust.
Once we know what needs to change, we translate that into a clear improvement and implementation plan. This typically spans a few months – long enough to make real progress, but always practical and focused.
And I won’t just disappear from the scene. A follow-up later in the year helps to ensure progress and that the improvements actually stick.
